What is it about spring...?

Flowers are everywhere, that’s a given. I start popping hay fever tablets like lollies. The part of the world I live in is actually mostly full of evergreen trees, but there are a few deciduous which are now green again, and everything feels just that little bit more warm and bright.

Suddenly I’m listening to romantic pop songs all the damn time and feeling very gooey. Not in a way that’s tempting me to abandon my single girl life, but in a ‘isn't love just lovely?’ kind of way. It’s a good time for writing lyrics and rom-com scripts, methinks.

This blog feels like it’s been hibernating over winter. Looking back over the last few months that is certainly how I feel. But spring has come and brought with it a renewed vigor. I’m already at work on a lot of different things. A whole slew of creative projects are right in front of me (some are half-way to being done) and there are some long over-due blog posts which you can expect to read in the next week.

So now the days are bright and long,

The air is sweetly fragrant,

This weekend is three days long,

And I’m really busy, how ‘bout you?
